 Raka Paul, a respected community leader, business professional, and candidate for Ward 2 Councillor in East Gwillimbury.

Since 2003, Raka has built a career founded on integrity, leadership, and service. He currently serves as Broker of Record for RE/MAX Crossroads, overseeing three offices and mentoring approximately 200 real estate professionals. Throughout his career, he has helped countless families while earning a reputation for honesty, accountability, and strong leadership.

Beyond his profession, Raka is deeply committed to community service. He is the President of the Markham Cricket Association, where he has led the organization for the past four years, fostering youth engagement, community participation, and charitable initiatives, including fundraising efforts for Markham Stouffville Hospital through the Cricket for Cure event.

A proud resident of Ward 2, devoted husband, and father of two, Raka is running for Council because he believes East Gwillimbury deserves thoughtful, accessible, and transparent leadership. His campaign is focused on responsible growth, improved infrastructure, safer neighbourhoods, stronger community spaces, and ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in the decisions shaping their town.
